Project/Proposal Summary:

Under contract with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), MSI is implementing the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) Anticorruption Threshold Program in Peru.
The Program will help the Government of Peru (GOP) combat public corruption by improving administrative systems and procedures, strengthening enforcement, and increasing public awareness about corruption. The ambitious, multi-faceted activities to reduce public corruption in Peru are being funded by MCC and administered by USAID during a 24-month period. Position Summary:

The CoP will provide the overall technical and administrative management for the project, hire, manage and mentor the field staff, and maintain accountability to headquarters office in the United States and to USAID in the field.

Responsibilities:

- The COP will establish and provide continuing liaison with USAID/Peru and the Government of Peru;
- Supervise implementation of all required activities;
- Supervise monitoring and evaluation of the project and provide the required reporting to USAID/Peru.

Qualifications:

- Demonstrated expertise in transparency and accountability with extensive knowledge of one or more of the following areas: public procurement, public administration, judicial reform, public awareness campaigns;
- Minimum 5 years overseas experience managing internationally funded development programs;
- Prior Chief of Party experience and experience in Peru strongly preferred;
- Experience in rapidly establishing and managing field operations in complex settings;
- Fluency in English and Spanish;
- Familiarity with USAID policies and procedures;
- A degree in a relevant field, such as law, political science, international affairs or public administration;
- Demonstrated strong leadership capability.
